Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is the governing and representative body of the institution. It is responsible for establishing the activities to be carried out, approving the budgets and annual accounts and setting the criteria for action.

Luis Álvarez

President

A graduate in law and postgraduate from IESE Business School, he has developed his professional career in the wealth management sector in Barcelona, Madrid, New York and Miami.

José Manuel Veiga

Collaborator of the Foundation since its inception. Entrepreneur in the hotel and catering sector. Graduate in Hotel Management from EADA and the GLION International Institute (Switzerland).

Laura Álvarez

Vice President

Collaborator of the Foundation since its inception. Architect by CEU San Pablo University. Currently working in an architectural firm in Madrid.

Pedro Galatas

With a degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame IN and postgraduate degrees from IESE Business School and Singularity University, he has developed his career as an entrepreneur and manager in the IT sector in Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia.

Luis Osés

Economist and postgraduate degree from IESE (PDG I). Director of a venture capital company. Managing Director of a Dutch multinational chemical company (1978-2006).

Ricardo de Manuel

He has a degree in Business Administration and Management, specializing in wealth management. He is a founding partner of a financial advisory firm, director of several collective investment institutions and of a private equity fund.

Honorary Trustees

Rafael Gómez

Chemical engineer and postgraduate degree from IESE Business School. He has been an entrepreneur in the tanning sector and has chaired the International Association of Leather Tanners.

Claudio Doria (secretary - not a Trustee)

Lawyer. He has developed his career as a partner in one of the leading law firms in Spain, Portugal and Latin America, and continues today at the head of his own firm. He is a member of the advisory board of the European forum of the International Bar Association (IBA).

Lluis Ventós

Painter and sculptor. He has edited graphic works, perfume bottles, jewelry, etc. In sculpture he has worked with all kinds of materials, as well as the collage technique. He has exhibited in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Cadaqués. Florence, Andorra, etc.

Juan José Planes

With a degree in psychology and engineering and a postgraduate degree from IESE Business School, he runs a human resources consultancy.
