IBO Foundation is an independent foundation, managed by a group of professionals from the private sector.
STAFF in the field
Graduated in hospitality and tourism, she has dedicated most of her professional career to training, as well as to the operation and management of restaurants and hotels.
Involved with Ibo for 6 years. She is currently in charge of the management of Fundación Ibo, as well as the other associated projects in Mozambique.
From Portugal, she graduated and post-graduated in Foreign Languages at the University of Porto. She spent her career between Portugal and Mozambique, where she worked in various sectors such as training and hospitality, as well as in her own consultancy.
She is currently the Project Coordinator of Fundación Ibo.
Responsible for the construction and maintenance area of the Ibo Foundation, he has been at Ibo for almost 10 years. He has more than 40 years of experience in different branches of construction, mainly in hydraulic installations and plumbing systems, but also electricity, masonry, mechanics and others. He teaches the trade to young apprentices.
Carpenter with over 40 years of experience in the restoration of churches and the construction of large infrastructures with wood.
He has been in charge of the Ibo Carpentry Workshop-School for 8 years, teaching apprentices an almost extinct tradition with love and patience.
Originally from Nampula (Mozambique), she did her studies in Tanzania, where she graduated in Nutrition.
She is the head of the Nutrition Support Center of Ibo. There she works with the children and women of the District in the nutrition component and also in education.
Salito Alexandre Bernardo
Agronomist graduated from the Catholic University of Mozambique.
He is responsible for the Agriculture projects of Fundación Ibo.
Degree in Business Administration and Management from the Polytechnic University of Nampula (Mozambique).
Responsible for the Business Center of Fundación Ibo and the gender empowerment area. She monitors and advises entrepreneurs in the district, provides training to women and coordinates the activities of the women's group.
STAFF in Spain
Graduated in Political Science, itinerary in International Relations by UAB. She has more than 14 years of experience in organizing activities. She is part of the administrative and financial structure of the Foundation.
Graduated in History and trained in the management of NGOs and other non-profit organizations. Since 2021, she has been monitoring and supporting Fundación IBO projects.
She holds a degree in Information Sciences, specializing in Advertising and RRPP from UAB. She is responsible for the Foundation's marketing and communications, a field in which she has more than 20 years' experience.
